Stump Removal After Hurricane Irma
posted by: Jim

Hurricane Irma took a turn West and spared Miami from catastrophic destruction, however it still managed to take down thousands of trees around Miami-Dade County. If you had overgrown trees on your property, chances are they were severely damaged during the hurricane, or possibly even uprooted.

While trees can recover from torn branches, recovery from a large tear, especially one involving a portion of the trunk, is less likely. By recovery we don't mean that the tree can survive, we mean that the tree not only survives, but remains safe for those around it.

Those trees damaged by Hurricane Irma that cannot be saved will need to be cut down, and the resulting stumps will need to be removed. Removing the resulting stump from cutting down a tree is not mandatory, but it is very good idea as stumps are not aesthetically pleasing and can pose a danger to you and others.

If injury to someone or their property arises from a stump on your property you could be liable for their injury and/or damage to their property. This is why when given the choice, stump removal is almost always the best and safest way to go.

Affordable Tree Service, Inc. has been providing stump removal services in Miami and throughout Miami-Dade County for more than 25 years. Wherever you are in the Miami area, Affordable Tree Service, Inc. can assist you with your stump removal and stump grinding needs.
