Tree Trimming After Hurricane Irma
posted by: Jim

The restoration efforts after hurricane Irma are almost over. Miami is getting back to normal, almost all debris have been removed from the street and the broken down trees have been removed.

Most of the cosmetic effort has been put in, but there are still many trees which have broken branches which makes them unhealthy and unbalanced. Balancing the load on a tree is very important. If too many branches broke on one side of the tree and the branches on the other side have not been trimmed, the tree can easily break at the trunk, or fall to the ground depending on the root system, soil, and the type of tree in question.

This is why is it important to look around your property and check for broken branches that have not been properly removed yet, or imbalance in trees which could lead them to fall. If a tree branch falls on you or your property it could have serious repercussions on your health. Falling branches can easily cause blunt trauma to the head and back, and can leave disfiguring cuts and lacerations. If those lose branches fall on your neighbors or their property it could have catastrophic financial consequences due to liability.

Having your trees professionally trimmed can prevent accidents from happening, and ensure that your trees remain balanced and healthy.
